This weeks They Bring The Music To Us featured blog, Berkeley Place is easily the most meticulous blog I’ve ever featured here. While it isn’t purely a music blog, most of the content is music related, and it boasts one hell of a mission statement:

“[We] With rare exceptions, will not promote material protected by the RIAA–we will do so only when the band is small, top notch, provides legal links to permitted material, and is on a small, imprint distributed by a major label. So Sony, BMG, etc., don’t start sending me crap. Until you call off your dogs, I’m not interested.”

So if you are a fan of sticking it to the man, this blog and author are for you.

What you’ll notice about this blog are the amazing lists which border on a superhuman quality level. If you are the anal retentive type and other blogs are just too hectic for you, you may want to check out Berkeley Place. If you’d like a side of superheroes and zombies with your music plate, this list will blow you away and keep you occupied for a while.

Berkeley Place is a blog worth checking out, both for indie purists, and zombie movie purists, which is not something I get to say often, so go off and take a listen to some songs of the posted songs while you buff up on zombie films.
