Back to school, back to school! Summer is over and the time has come again when students flock back to their campuses and hunker down for the next four months, and there’s nothing better during a time like this than some new music to listen to while studying and doing homework. August 25th, 2008 by Tanya Payne · No Comments

Instead of looking forward to school I get to anticipate 3 days of all things art in a city I’ve never seen. Sweetening an already sweet deal, I’m attending with my best friend writing partner Kymlee and have […]

Listening In Live to All Points West Day Two
August 10th, 2008 by Eric Atienza · No Comments
As day two of All Points West opened I found myself once again in front of the Blue Comet stage with the summer sun bearing down, this time waiting for Chromeo (Web site, Myspace) to begin their set. At this point the hour and a half train ride and half an hour walk to the […]

Listening in Live to All Points West Day One
August 9th, 2008 by Eric Atienza · No Comments
Barely recovered from Lollapalooza last weekend, I set out to cover the first annual All Points West festival this weekend in Liberty State Park, New Jersey. I didn’t know what to expect going in, but if day one was any indication APW will be quite an entertaining weekend.

Listening In Live to Lollapalooza Day 3
August 4th, 2008 by Eric Atienza · No Comments
Just as I finished work on my recap of day two crisp, slick DJ beats began pouring from the south main stage, adjacent to the press area. The club hip-hop that the set developed into sounded fun and fresh and i quickly rushed to the fence, schedule in hand, to see who was playing.
